Computer Software Engineering
The National Innovation Diploma programme is designed to produce skilled software technicians who should be able to solve a wide range of problems by the systematic development and evaluation of large, high quality software systems.
Computer Hardware Engineering
The goal is to impart the necessary knowledge leading to the production of skilled, enterprising and self-reliant personnel in Computer Hardware Engineering Technology.
Networking and System Security
The goal is to produce technically competent manpower to meet the National requirements in the areas of designing, installation, maintenance and management of local, wide area and wireless network environment.
Multimedia Technology
The programme is designed to equip the students with creative and designing skills which would give them an opportunity to move in the various fields of digital media.
In addition, student will develop and produce impressive motion graphics for possible inclusion in a final portfolio with articulated written plans, which would lead to their own unique portfolio.
NVC in Computer Studies
Students will run three year modular programme leading to the award of
The National Vocational Certificate (NVC) in Computer Studies.
Each year of study could be terminal as the students are equiped with a practicable working skill that enable them to exit at that level if they so desire.
* National Vocational Certificate Part 1 is awarded after one year of study.
* National Vocational Certificate Part 2 is awarded after two years of study.
* National Vocational Certificate Final is awarded after three years of study.
Firstmark Innovation School of Technology, Ado-Ekiti (FISTA) is an approved and accredited ICT Polytechnic Under Innovation Enterprise Institutions (IEIs).
These institutions are a product of the recent reform initiatives of the Federal Ministry of Education in the education sector.
They are established to widen access to vocational, technical and professional education as offer a credible and recognized alternative route to university education.
FISTA is located within Ado-Ekiti municipality, opposite Mary Assumpta Catholic Hospital, Ureje, along Ikere Road.
